We are working too hard for the IRS-Tuition-Mortgage-IRA Monster to even stop and consider what it is that only we can do. I am in the quasi-employment counseling business. When people retire I watch them begin to die. They have no clue who or what they are. Who/what they are is interpreted only in terms of where they could work, what they could work AT, and how much they could make. It is a tragic fact of life.
